To commemorate the 70th anniversary of Dr. Bethune�s passing away as well as further Canada-China friendship, Chinese Canadian Health Alliance and the Dr. Bethune Memorial Association of Canada will be creating a Canadian Medical Volunteer group to re-walk the journey of Dr. Bethune. We will begin our journey from Vancouver to Changchun and finally arrive Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province, China, where is his tomb and memorial house in China This will be the second Canadian Medical Volunteer group to re-live Br.Bethune�s journey and promote his spirit of dedication to the field of medicine. The volunteer group will provide free medical services and consultation to general public in the spirit of Dr. Bethune; network, lectures and exchange program with Chinese medical professionals; donate medicine and stationary to the people and children of areas visited by Dr. Bethune.The first trip by canadian medical volunteer group to China in 2007 was highly successful.
